The Post-Pandemic Radio Rebound
Radio is a powerful, ‘tried and true’ medium utilized across the United States; one that has been a staple for as long as we can remember. Even with streaming services coming into play, radio continues to hold strong, boasting a weekly adult-reach of around 90 percent. During an average week in September of this year, radio reached 90.9 percent of all American men between the ages of 35 and 64*, despite the lack of daily travel in 2020. With both traditional and digital access to radio content, advertisers are still seeing the value in capitalizing on this distribution channel to reach their audience.

Monarch consistently adds the newest functionality to make things easier and faster for you to find sales wins! With the upgrades recently made to the efficiency and functionality of the reporting abilities through Monarch, did you know that you can create a personalized dashboard of data cards created from your favorite reports? This ability allows you to increase the personalization of your Home Page view and saves you time by giving you shortcuts to the reports you utilize the most.
Here’s how to set it up for yourself:
- Create a report and favorite it from any of the standard reports such as Pacing, Forecast, MYSH, or Activity Report.
- When creating your favorite report, set the option for "Display as a Data Card for my Home Page" to YES. What you name this report will appear as the name of the Data Card that will be created from it.
- Now that your favorite report is created, head back to the Home Page and add a new data card.
- You will see the option "Favorite Report" and once selected, you will be able to pick from any of the reports that you have favorited and selected to display as a Data Card.
- Selecting one of those reports will immediately load it as a data card with a miniature version of the chart from that report, maintaining all of the hierarchies, filters, and settings that you setup the favorite to have.
- You can now click through the Data Card that you just created in order to view the full report without the need to go to the reports page and run it separately.
- If you modify this favorite report from the reports page or by clicking through the Data Card, your Data Card will automatically inherit that new information (or be removed if deleted) on the next load.
- If you modify this favorite report from the reports page or by clicking through the Data Card, your Data Card will automatically inherit that new information (or be removed if deleted) on the next load.
