November eNews: Why We Are Thankful

With Thanksgiving upon us, we reached out to the Matrix Solutions' Team to hear what they are most thankful for, and here is what a handful of them had to say starting with our CEO, Mark Gorman.

I am thankful for all of my colleagues at Matrix.  I appreciate their hard work, their dedication and relentless efforts to create the best products and services for which our clients could wish.  I appreciate each and every one of our clients for their continued support.

I am also thankful for my friends, with whom life would have less color.

And finally, I am thankful for my family. More than anything, my family is my core, my center, my home. I have an amazing husband, amazing siblings, a mother who sacrificed so much for our wellbeing and a never-ending chain of history and tradition. 

Life is about appreciating what we have and who shares this journey along our side.  Thank you.

I am thankful for my family, friends, and the opportunity to work for a tremendously innovative and cool company!  I am most hopeful for World Peace!

I am grateful for my family, friends, job, and December 22 (each day starts to get longer)! It’s also the small things that keep me smiling all day that I am grateful for: A favorite song coming on during morning commute or hitting all green lights, a ray of sun breaking through on a cloudy day, someone holding the elevator for me, pleasant conversation or smile from a stranger, a lively child in line at the store or in play outside, etc. The small things are all around if you just look for them.

Of course, family, friends, health etc. Then there is Indoor plumbing. Seriously…think about it. 😊

I am thankful for the Matrix Espresso Shot!  Especially on mornings after this Hockey Mom has been at a rink past 10pm!!!

I am thankful for my family and their support in everything that I do. I am also very thankful to work for such an exciting company with a lot of opportunity ahead of us!

I’m thankful for the brand-new addition to my family, and the supportive team that I work with here at Matrix!

This year, there is a lot to be thankful for.  I am thankful for time I get to spend with family and friends, being able to watch my two little ones grow and become their own person, for our soon-to-be baby boy (coming December 2017), the continued prosperity of Matrix and the great folks I get to work with every day, and finally the Detroit Lions march towards the playoffs (hopefully).

 I have so many reasons to be thankful for Matrix! I have the blessed opportunity to be employed by a company that is innovative, focused and visionary! I am thankful that I have an opportunity to work with fun, smart and creative managers and colleagues! 

The opportunity to work with great people every day!

Small wins, big challenges, creative freedom, flexible schedule, a desk with a standing option (my new goal will be to use it more 😊), and a paycheck.

I’m thankful for a happy and healthy family and a fifth Stanley Cup for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
